The Healing Place puts a high priority on preparing couples for marriage. We want to help you evaluate your relationship for potential problems before your ceremony. Many issues that cause stress in marriage are manageable with godly counsel. A good marriage takes a lifetime of work. Laying a good foundation makes it easier.

Premarital Counseling at The Healing Place consists of a 4-week class followed by several one-on-one sessions with a Healing Place pastor. Couples will need to complete the online Prepare & Enrich assessment before the class begins.

After registering for premarital counseling, couples will be sent a link to take the online Prepare & Enrich assessment. There is a $35 fee per couple paid online to take the assessment. The assessment will pinpoint relational strengths and reveal growth areas. You will receive relational tools to improve your communication, for healthy conflict resolution, to understand the impact of friends and family on marriage, and to help you build spiritual, physical and emotional intimacy. Your one-on-one sessions will focus on issues specific to your relationship and wedding ceremony planning.

Couples who complete this class will be issued a “Twogether In Texas” certificate for a discount on your marriage license.
